Many people want to put on muscle. but the key to achieving successful muscle building is to do the training on a consistent level.

Bodybuilding is not a short term thing. If you think thast you will add a load of muscle to your frame in a few weeks, then you are mistaken. You will need to decide which days of the week are going to be your training days. You will need to do this on a regular basis.

Don't think that you will have to train everyday, or twice a day. Regularity of training is the key, and not the quantity. You choose to train 2-3 days a week. It all depends on your time constraints. You should be aiming to train at least 2 times a week.

Before you start, don't fall into the trap that so many other people do. Avoid spending your hard earned cash on muscles pills and the like. This is something that you may want to consider further down the road. All you need to do is to find a good bodybuilding program. Stick to it for a consistent period of time, and you will see results.

Many beginners who want to build muscle head to the magazines racks. They buy the bodybuilding mags. They see these freaky muscular guys on the covers, and think that this is how they want to look. Forget it; for 99.9% of you out there, it is never going to happen.

The professionals are the exception and not the rule when it comes to building muscle. They are blessed with great genetics, and a lot of them shoot steroids into themselves on a daily basis.

You don’t have their genetics and you certainly don’t want to be pumping steroids into your body. You will need to take a different route. Do not start following the training routines that you read about in magazines. They are not for you. Doing these sorts of routines will lead to overtraining.

Your focus should be on doing full body workouts in your training. Do not split your training for different body parts. The body grows faster if a greater number of muscles are hit at the same time. This way of training can be done for a long time, before having to change it.

You will also build a lot of muscle by doing it this way. There are only half a dozen or so exercises tat you will need to use. You will also need to make changes to your diet. Because you are placing great sress on your body with the training, you will need the correct nutrition.

By not giving your body good nutrition, you are holding back growth. This will result in limited muscle gains. Try to eat regular meals rich in protein. This gives your body the resources to grow muscle.

There are many good bodybuilding programs out there. Find one and stick to it. Don't train too much. Eat healthy food. Rest as much as you can. These factors are key to building muscle.

A lot of guys would like to gain muscle. but the key to achieving successful muscle building is to do the training on a consistent level.

Muscle gaining should not be a short term goal. If you think thast you will add a load of muscle to your frame in a few weeks, then you are mistaken. You will need to set aside days each week, where you will train with weights. This should be done on a consistent basis.

However it will not be neccessary to workout every day. Regularity of training is the key, and not the quantity. You choose to train 2-3 days a week. It all depends on your time constraints. You should be aiming to train at least 2 times a week.

Try not to make the mistake that a lot of other people do. Don't waste your money on bodybuilding supplements. This is something that you may want to consider further down the road. You should find an effective muscle building program. Stay with the program and the results will come.

Many beginners who want to build muscle head to the magazines racks. They buy the bodybuilding mags. They get sucked in to thinking that they can be as big of some of those guys on the covers of the magazines. Forget it; for 99.9% of you out there, it is never going to happen.

The professionals are the exception and not the rule when it comes to building muscle. Not do they only have almost perfect genetics to build muscle, they also dabble consistently with steroids.

You don’t have their genetics and you certainly don’t want to be pumping steroids into your body. You will need to take a different route. Do not be led by the routines that you see in magazines. This is not for you. Doing these sorts of routines will lead to overtraining.

Your focus should be on doing full body workouts in your training. Do not do split routines. The body grows faster if a greater number of muscles are hit at the same time. You can follow this method for months, before changing to something else.

Doing it this way will enable your body to grow a fair amount of muscle. Stick to a handful of big exercises, and you won't go far wrong. You will also need to make changes to your diet. Due to the stress being placed on the body, correct nutrition is vital.

If you are not getting enough healthy food, your body will not have the resources to repair itself. This will result in limited muscle gains. Eat protein rich meals 5-6 times a day. This provides your body with the resources to grow.

There are many good bodybuilding programs out there. Once you have found one, stay with it. Don't train too much. Consume a good diet. Rest as much as you can. These are the major factors to gain muscle.

Building Lean Muscle

Building lean muscle must be a priority for you as you start out on your muscle building career. It is one thing to want to get big to look good it is another thing to add quality muscle mass. Anybody can get bigger by adding fat but that goes against what we are really trying to accomplish. What sense does it make to get big if, when you look in the mirror you can’t see your abs or any noticeable definition. You must add cardio and proper nutrition to help assure that the weight you are adding is quality muscle mass and you are losing fat at the same time.

Four things we must include when we are thinking about building lean muscle

Muscle Confusion
You can build lean muscle mass by cutting down on the rest period and increasing the weight you use for each exercise. 30 seconds rest in between each set is enough time to allow your heat rate and lactic acid build up to decrease. This rest cycling is a great way to keep you muscles guessing and forcing them to adapt and grow. Using this type of confusion training burns extra calories and increases your overall lean muscle mass.

Strength Training
There is no way to truly build lean muscle mass without including a strength building routine to your existing routine. Strength training and fat burning go hand in hand and should be included in your overall weight lifting program. The large muscle groups have to be exercised to build lean muscle mass. Increasing your overall core strength is a direct result of working out these big muscle groups. This can be done by using compound exercises that target the large muscle groups, which include the chest, legs and back.
Strength training using compound exercises will create an anabolic response and allow you to continue to burn calories and build muscle long after the workout is done. It really is all about gaining strength and using a great strength training program to take you to the next level.

Cardio Training
If you neglect your cardio workout: ie: treadmill, walking, stationary bike etc you are missing out on the added benefits that cardio training will add to your goals of building lean muscle mass. Cardio can be boring and at times seem a waste of time but if you are going to have the stamina and endurance to complete your workouts it must be included. While you are building muscle you want to be able to see that muscle but how can you see that muscle if you have a layer of fat hiding it? It’s the cardio training that will let you lose that layer of fat just below the skin. Begin your cardio training today!

Nutrition And Protein
To build lean muscle mass you must eat the right foods and get the correct amount of protein if you are to reach your goals. The major source of bodybuilding nutrition is protein and we must eat it everyday and in the right amounts. To build lean muscle mass you must take in one gram of protein for each pound of lean muscle mass. This is different than one gram of protein for each pound of body weight but if you are a beginner weight lifter than it will be ok to calculate your protein intake based on total weight. When you are more experienced you should use the newer method to determine protein intake.

Muscle confusion, strength training, cardio and nutrition must always be included if you really want to build lean muscle mass.

Start to build lean muscle today or keep complaining about how you look. It is up to you how you look and feel.

How to Get Ripped By Summer

With summer on the way it’s time to kick back and enjoy the beach or just hang out in the sun. This means it’s time to showcase the body you have spent months in the gym working out. You want your friends to ask you how to get ripped and build muscle like you, but you can’t very well answer them if you’re walking around with a flabby, soft and smooth body. It’s time to shift into “ripped” mode.

You want to know how to get ripped?

Most people, when asked will tell you that you must lower the weight you lift and increase the reps in order to get ripped quickly.

Are you really interested in learning how to really get ripped? Do you want to know the truth about heavy weight versus lightweight methods of building muscle mass and getting cut and ripped?

Most of what you know about getting ripped is with out a doubt wrong. Don’t waste your time and slow your progress with this stupid way of thinking because there is no physical evidence for this type of weight training at all

There is no way to spot reduce any areas of our body. To say you can’t spot reduce fat in any one area would be an understatement. By doing countless sets of bench presses you can’t magically burn the fat from just your chest area, that includes getting rid of man boobs.

Each trip to the gym should be used to fully stimulate each muscle group that you are focusing on for the day to help you get ripped quickly. Change your mindset and forget about all the magical advice that claims to get one area or another ripped.

Do you want to see what it’s like to get ripped to shreds? Try doing compound exercises and train as hard as your body will let you.

The question is how do we really get ripped? Learn how I got ripped

To define each muscle in your body and get that ripped physique you must lower the overall fat levels in your body. There are two ways you can do this effectively.

1) Diet is really important

Lower your calorie intake to 13 times your body weight and spread it out over 5 to 6 meals a day. This will naturally increase your body’s metabolic rate and help to keep your body in a constant fat burning mode . You have to eliminate simple sugars and saturated fats and learn to eat healthy foods like carbohydrates that have a low glycemic level. It’s also necessary to eat plenty of high quality protein at least five to six times a day. The rule of thumb is to only eat 30 grams of protein at any one time because your body will have a difficult time assimilating anymore than that. Also drink a lot of water to make sure you hydrate and lubricate your muscles and joints. It’s all about the diet……I know how to get ripped with my muscle building diet

2) Get really ripped by doing your cardio differently.

No need to keep doing the ancient techniques of doing cardio for 60 minutes using moderate intensity. If you want to get the most from your cardio workouts than try doing higher intensity cardio workouts and minimize the risk of losing some of the hard earned muscle you built throughout the winter months. A great high intensity cardio workout would be doing wind sprints insted of the boring treadmill. This will increase your resting metabolic rate and will burn even more fat while maintaining the integrity of the muscle you have developed over the months.

Until you know what level of definition you are looking for my suggestion would be to do 4 high intensity cardio workouts each week.

It couldn’t get any easier than that!. You want to know how to get ripped? Forget about the lightweight and higher reps and concentrate on your diet and increasing the intensity of your cardio workouts. If you continue to do the same things over and over again and you are expecting different results you are just fooling yourself.

This is all you need to do to get ripped in time for summer:

1) Use compound exercises to build more muscle fibers in a broader area of your body for maximum muscular gains.

2) Change your cardio intensity and your diet to give you the best opportunity of getting really ripped.

End of story!

Start Today!! Set your sights on the prize and find out How To Get Ripped Quickly!!!

See you at the beach “Ripped”!!!

How To Tone Flabby Arms - 3 Common Myths Busted

Many women believe that the only way to tone flabby arms or any other part of their bodies is to work out for hours in the gym every week. For women who are busy holding down jobs, running a home and looking after children, it is impossible and unnecessary. Who wouldn't want to have beautifully toned arms and bodies, but not if it takes away time from our families.

You do not need to work out for hours in order to achieve your dream body. Here we will bust apart commonly held belief about building muscle.

Myth Number. 1 - Working out for longer is better
Working any more than an hour starts to have a negative effect on the body. This is because the body starts releasing hormones that decrease muscle tone, increase fat storage and increase stress on the body. This can cause you to feel anxious, lethargic and exhausted.

The solution is to keep your workouts short and intense. You only need to work hard for 20 minutes for the workout to be effective. Keep your intensity high for the whole 20 minutes and try and get a sweat going within the first 5 minutes. Everyone can find 20 minutes out of their day to exercise.

Myth Number. 2 - Lifting weights will make you look bulky
There are many women who work out with heavy weights and still have a lean, toned and sexy body. They aren’t big and bulky and look like a female version of Arnold Schwarzenegger! It is a myth that lifting weights will make you look big and bulky. If that was the case then you wouldn't lift heavy shopping bags or pick up your child for fear of creating bulky muscles.

If you don't use weights you won't be able to build muscle, raise metabolism and burn off calories effectively. The solution is to use weights that are as heavy as you can lift for 6-12 reps. It is only by using heavy weights that you can develop sculpted and sexy arms.

Mistake No. 3 – low or medium intensity workouts are better

When you work out with heavy weights at high intensity, you force your body to increase the amount of calories it burns during your workout, which last for the rest of the day. How great is it that you could be burning calories whilst sitting in front of the TV. This is known as the "afer-burn effect". This doesn't happen if you only do low or medium intensity workouts.

Working out at a high intensity for at least 20 minutes will take advantage of the after-burn effect. Make sure every minute counts. Do 6-12 repetitions using as heavy weights as you can safely lift. You can do a couple of minutes skipping to keep your heart rate going between repetitions and have a 30 second rest before carry on.

We hope this has busted the most commonly held myths about muscle building. If you want to know more about how to tone flabby arms then visit my tone flabby arms website for a complete program that takes less than 90 minutes per week. Sounds like my kinda workout!

The number one thing most weight lifters want is big arms. Why wouldn’t you want to look like the guys with the huge triceps and bulging biceps?  If you want to get noticed then these are the show off muscles that will get you noticed. You need to take the guesswork out of building big arms and gain a real understanding. You have to find the right weight lifting program aimed at getting guns you can be proud of. Lets try and learn some important things about packing on the muscle. It’s all about picking the right weight lifting program.

Facts about arm training

There are three things, which you must understand in order to maximize your arm workouts, which some weight lifting programs fail to address.

  1. The biceps and triceps are small muscle groups that when overworked will not grow large. If you are already doing compound exercises like bench presses and dead lifts you ae blasting your biceps and triceps already. Limit the amount of bicep and tricep training, if you are including bench presses and deadlifts, they aren’t really neccessary. When you continue to isolate these smaller muscle groups all you are doing is hurting your chances of getting big arms.
  2. The biceps get a heavy workout when you are doing the basic exercises that include pulling. If your weight lifting program includes lat pull downs or bent over rows then you are simultaneously blasting the biceps. If you want your biceps to grow pile on the weight you are using in your back exercises. Your biceps are so fatigued after all the heavy back training why would you need to do barbell curls? Go ahead and do it if you don’t want big arms.

For more great muscle building tips you will want to visit Rocko’s site, you can see it here: Rocko’s Muscle Building Tips

  3. Think about this when you are getting ready to do a full tricep workout. By doing bench presses and military presses you have stressed the triceps enough for the week. Although a very strong muscle group, the triceps are susceptible to overwork and injury by placing too many demands on this small muscle group.

These facts illustrate the point that huge arms are more the direct result of doing heavy compound exercises than doing a lot of isolation exercises. With this being the case you can still do a small amount of arm training. If you still want to workout your biceps and triceps then do it in moderation. Just remember that these are small muscle groups that don’t need as much training as the larger muscle groups. This is a sure fire way to keep your arms small and unimpressive.

Is your chest impressive? A chest that anyone would be proud to have. Or do you have the kind of chest that is better left unseen. Unimpressive and not worthy of a trip to the beach. If you want the kind of chest you always wanted now is your chance. With a little hard work and some proper chest building techniques you can build a chest you can be proud of.There are easy ways to build impressive chest muscles if you just follow some simple guidelines.

Best Chest Building Exercise

·Bench Press

The granddaddy of all chest building exercises is the flat bench press. Using proper form and technique are essential when doing this exercise. If you already have access to a weight bench and weights the following chest building technique should be included in your training program.

Start Today!! Set your sights on the prize and start Building Chest Muscles Today !!!

While you are laying flat on the bench align the bar directly above you. Pick the bar up off the bench supports and bring it down to the point where it hits you mid chest. Do not bounce the weight and use the momentum to hoist the weight up. You will do 15 repetitions for the first set. The rest of the sets will include using only enough weight so that you can only do 12,10 and then 8 reps. Go to failure on each set for maximum growth. To get completely comfortable with this exercise may take several weeks.

·Dumbbell Flyes

No chest workout would be complete without the aid of the famous dumbell flyes. Holding a dumbell in each hand lay flat on the bench. Lower the dumbbells out to your side and down to the level of the bench with slightly bent arms. The lower you can go the greater the stretch and emphasis on your chest muscles. As you bring the dumbbells up to the beginning position contract your chest muscles to get an incredible pump. Use the same amount of sets and reps as you did with the bench press. Four sets of 15, 12, 10 then 8 repetitions.

·Less is often better

For the best muscle gains work out your chest only once during the week. When you have a solid foundation you can start to increase the amount of exercises and the weight you can lift. In the long run you will want to stress the muscles to the point of failure. Your ultimate goal is to go to complete failure for optimum muscle gains.

For more great chest building tips you will want to visit Rocko’s site, you can find it here: Rocko’s Muscle and Chest Building Tips

These two exercises are a great starting point to building chest muscles and having an impressive muscular chest. To shock and confuse your muscles you must periodically change your muscle building program. When you have progressed beyond the level of beginner you will know which exercises your body responds best to and you can revamp your workout to take advantage of this. Remember that anything worth having is worth working hard for.

Why do people spend so much time in the gym? If you survey people, they will have 2 things in mind.
They want to burn fat gain muscle. They also want to build muscle and add strength and size.
Some people say you can’t do both at the same time, but the truth is you can learn how to burn fat and build muscle as part of one comprehensive strategy.
You just need to know how to approach the situation, and it actually all starts in your kitchen, not in the gym at all.
The first thing you need to do is figure out how you can construct a healthy eating plan that will allow you to do both of these things.
This is the hardest hurdle, due to the fact that in order to lose those pounds you need to use more calories than you intake.
However, to build muscle you have to eat more calories than you burn so that you have energy leftover to feed new muscle growth.
The trick to solving this riddle is to really be strict about what you can and can not eat.
Your nutrition for your musckle building efforts will relay on protein.
You need a great deal of protein in your diet in order to maximize muscle growth.
When trying to burn fat gain muscle at the same time, this is something that can’t be compromised with, you have to ensure your protein intake is adequate.
That means you have to cut down on other things. You have to make sure that every meal or snack you eat has some level of protein in it.
Another requirement is that you keep your metabolism going in as a rapid manner as possible.
To do this, you want to break up your meals into smaller snacks and meals throughout the day.
This means eating between 5 and 7 times each day instead of 3 or 4.
You will burn calories off more efficiently, you’ll be less tempted to snack before bedtime and you’ll be more consistently energetic all day long.
Another trick to making this strategy work is that you may not even have to cut down on your total calories at all.
The muscle you build is constantly hungry, it adds to your metabolic capabilities.
It needs calories to maintain itself, to repair itself and to grow anew.
Your muscles always need to be fed. So if you are effectively building new muscle, you have raised your caloric needs.
Therefore, keeping your calorie intake constant, ensuring you get enough protein in the process by cutting down on superfluous items, will enable you to not have to restrict yourself.
You’ll still end up burning off more fat, and it won’t be a torturous task in the meantime.
The combined goal to burn fat gain muscle isn’t impossible and it doesn’t have to be contradictory.
Before you even go to the gym, take care to use these recommendations to get the best nutrition you can for your body.
So, This is how to build muscle mass. The fat will start to come off naturally.
