Really think you can’t lose weight? Any reasons why you think that you can’t shed a bit of flab? Sadly the majority of people who want to lose weight get it in their heads that they simply can’t lose weight. They think the weight loss demons are stopping them from them from dieting with a magical spell or something.
The sad fact is that secretly they don’t want to lose weight at all. They would be happy to simply carry on as they are. Openly though, they will still claim to want to lose weight but can’t seem to manage it.
It’s no magical secret. Weight loss is a simple mathematical problem. We eat (calories) and we burn (calories) off. If we eat more than we burn off we get fat. Period.
On the other hand if we burn off slightly more than we eat we lose weight. This is the crux of the problem. The average diet is so full of calories it’s almost criminal. If you actually measured out the right amount of calorific intake that you should have each day you’ll give yourself a heart attack.
A basic example is the exercise for love handles, the side bend. Doing lots and lots of these will make you lose weight. However, how many you have to do is hard to guess. You have to calculate how many calories you are burning to balance the scales.
You can take in a whole days calories in one meal. Easily! Fast food is the biggest culprit. In fact fast food is quite often laced with sugar, even the burgers! Eating sugar will make you hungry again much quicker.
Almost everything we eat gets changed into a simple form of sugar called glucose by the body. Sugary foods get used up much faster and then leave you feeling hungry again very quickly. Is our western diet and its high sugar content a conspiracy to get us to eat more and more, and ultimately spend more and more?
The more food we eat, the more money we spend, the more big industry gets rich. It’s a great formula for big business to get richer and richer. Of course, the simplest way to get us eating more is adding sugar to everything we eat.
Kinda like in a bar when there’s peanuts on the bar so you eat the salt, get thirsty and drink more. So, in conclusion to all this, the fact of the matter is you will lose weight by simply eating slightly less than you burn off. But will you do this on your own? Very doubtful as the willpower level in our culture is rock bottom.
A system that will hold your hand all the way will help you achieve your goal. A system that will guarantee you drop those unwanted pounds if you follow the rules. If you’ve tried other stuff and still believe you can’t lose weight it’s time you tried something else. Something that works!

There are many web sites and articles out there that promise to reveal how to shed fat from your love handles. Sadly most of it’s just fluff & rubbish. Usually setup to try and sell you some expensive equipment or diet pills.
The side bend is the usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category. You hold a walking stick or broom above your head and bend from side to side. Simple! You can do side bends all you like but they won’t work.
They will not work if you are just targeting one particular area. Just doing one area will have no effect whatsoever 99% of the time. Lots of people and websites will tell you otherwise though. They do work, but only if you do them with a whole all round system and not just “spot” training.
You will lose weight from your love handles if you incorporate the side bends with an all round workout. If you have a healthy diet as well as a good workout system you will see far better results. It’s a simple fact. Burn more energy than you consume to lose weight.
To consume energy simply means to eat food. Burning energy means using it internally like a fuel, usually done by exercise. You can burn energy off (exercise) with any form of activity.
Any of these will do … Swimming, jogging, cycling, walking, and making love even! Any exercise at all is better than no exercise at all. This is the reason people get fat. They eat calorie laden food and do little or no exercise.
You can do love handle exercises for ever and a day but ignore other areas and you will end up back at square one. If you are a naturally lazy person (like me) then swimming is probably your best all round exercise. If you can get to a swimming pool you should. It’s gentle and has great benefits for you.
I personally turn my nose up at jogging. I see no point in spending hours in pain and shortening the life of your knees. You know the guy who made jogging famous collapsed and died while out jogging? His body being found by two smokers passing by. There’s irony for ya!
If you think it’s time you took your health & weight serious then you can help yourself by getting a good all round system.
